Ray of sunshine, 3 months
Being 3 months is such a magical time. All of a sudden the crying changes into smiling. Chatting starts. Naps get longer. Feeding is easier. Life is good, really good.

Christmas at the police station
Like magic, the police station turned into gingerbread. The cars of the employees were still parked at the side and the sign stating that it was still indeed the police station, stood firmly at the front. But a text had appeared on the roof and inside a pile of timeout chocolate bars for the police to enjoy on this busy busy Christmas.
Thank you for keeping our town safe through out the year!

Infinity scarfs
It's Christmas present time. I know I'm ruining the surprise to some of my friends now, as these scarfs are nicely wrapped under their trees waiting to be opened on Christmas, sorry.
I saw this type of infinity scarf on pinterest and thought I'd have to give it a try. Then I made one and fell in love. Mum and I got so excited. I made heaps for my friends and mum, after returning home, has made these for her friends too. I miss sewing with her and have to post these things that I was able to make while she was here, as at the moment I'm finding it hard to have time to make anything.

Christmas excitement
Emma's first Christmas calendar. I had a clear vision of what it would have looked like, but as it turned out, our fire place is not long enough for my ideas. Now the little pouches are very crowded. But it doesn't take away the joy she had, when she got to open the first little bag today. Neither does it take away the cries when she didn't get to open another one.
Merry, jolly Christmas waiting time to each and everyone of you!

2 months today
Some say that time has gone fast
And wonder how to make the moments last.
With you, my darling, however
I feel like I've known you forever.

Movember and my little moustache man
Few more days left of Movember and I think it's time to show our moustaches that we've been growing all month long. Here's my little man's moustache. It truly has been in the making for the whole month. In the beginning of the month I cut the pieces for the onesie, then the second week I was able to make the stencil and print the moustache. Third week I sew the neckline and the sleeves and yesterday I was able to finish it off. For some reason making things seems to take a long time at the moment. But he looks pretty handsome with his moustache if I may say so.
Oh how he grows, he's even smiling now!

Mini holiday
Mini vacation in the big Perth city for me and the kids while daddy was
doing a course at the academy. We don't go to the city that often, so it
was nice to wonder around there. Not so easy to take pictures with two
kids though, couldn't even change the setting to get some colourful
pictures. Oh well we truly enjoyed ourselves even though I am in the
need of another holiday just so I could rest from this holiday.
Life is happy when on your holiday you can eat sushi as often as you want, have a clean room every day without having to clean it, hearing Christmas music in the shops and buying new geeky glasses. I am focusing here on the good memories instead of all the screaming in the car, wetting pants in the shops, having such a sore back after carrying the little on all day long, running away and chasing episodes. Oh the joyous life of trying to do things on your own with two kids. I'm defiitely still trying to find my way.
But what made our holiday absolutely the best, was all the time we got to spend with our cousins.
